NEW MAIN OFFICE (1-29-2025)

Beginning February 1, 2005 we will be under a new lease for an office space located at 1756 University Blvd. S, Jacksonville, Florida 32216. Just a couple of wees ago at church, a longtime friend and his wife were talking with Jody and me. He mentioned that he heard from our pastor that we needed an office and said to us, "you know have office space, right?" We made n appointment for the next day, so they could show me what they had to offer. As we sat at Woody's BBQ he spent a good bit of time talking about how it was once his Law Office and asking me questions about our ministry. I was a it concerned that the price was going to be high - based on the buildup. Then he said, "we want to bless you guys because we appreciate what you do, so we would like to offer you the space for $250.00 per month. As you can imagine, I immediately realized that God set this up as a blessing on us and Karen and Rodger Friedline.

We should keep in mind that even though this rent is low, it is still an expense we have to cover. Although I have no intention of getting a landline there, we will eventually need internet access. Fundraising will be necessary immediately as I do not have the money to cover this amount out of my personal income again. The Lord will lead to us some paying clients soon, but if we are to remain a non-profit type ministry, we will need some financial help. Please find the flier in the Tools section below, so you can share our needs with others.

Name Changes (1-29-2025)

We have submitted our Annual Report to the state and it has already been updates. As you know, we are changing the name of the ministry to Partners in Hope & Healing, Inc. I was advised to submit the Annual Report, then send in the name change request once the records are updated. I have verified that the Annual Report has been fully updated, so we are ready for the next step. Since all name change requests must be mailed in with payment, we have prepared the documents for mailing. It will go out in the mail as soon as we have the money in the account to pay for it.

With the name change, there is quire a bit of branding updating to do. The website is now yourhopepartner.org although the old address also works, for now.
​

We have also changed the name of CONNECT52 Women to Sisters Connected. I have changed the page on our site to reflect this change. With these 2 name changes happening, It was also necessary to update our FaceBook pages - which has been done.

This amount does not include office supplies, internet service, and the cost of starting new ministries.

We will rebuild our client base and will have incoming fees, but for now we will need to raise these funds.

This is the first time I have asked the board to get serious about fundraising. Jody and I have covered every deficiency and, for the most part, fees covered our monthly fees. Until we get a new client base built up, we must raise money.

Needs/Board Member Oportunities
Below you will find the legal documents of BCHH. While some of these documents are a matter of public record, this is not necessarily true of every document provided. We ask that you do not print these documents and will instead only view them your computer.
Social Media Volunteer
BCHH is in need of a volunteer who is able to manage social media for all projects or more than one volunteer if we what to have a social media helper for each project. The ask is for approximately 2 hours of service per week for a single helper or 20 minuets for those supporting only one project. These are minimum asks, expecting that one with a great interest in the project and the people it serves may wish to be creative and more engaged in the project.
Communications Volunteer
This volunteer will coordinate with project leads to prepare a monthly newsletter for the whole ministry. This Volunteer also coordinates with those interested in writing blog for the main website to produce a weekly submission structure. This volunteer would coordinate with the Social Media Specialist to see that the blogs and appropriate newsletter items are advertised to the public.
